2015 was incredible, but I am super excited to kick off a new year on so many great notes. My team and I have already been hard at work planning for a busy 2016 for GENBAND. As our company successfully executes against our strategic objective of being a market share leader in Network Transformation and our Kandy platform continues to gain momentum by adding world-class customers like SAP we are looking forward to continuing to spread the word at upcoming events such as the IBM Connect Conference in Orlando in late January, next month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and Enterprise Connect in March.
This will be our first year at IBM Connect, but they we have been collaborating with their team for over a year now. In fact, they were one of our first Kandy customers, participating in our launch event in San Francisco in 2014. At IBM Connect we will be highlighting how Kandy, our disruptive communications platform, is helping world-class companies like IBM and their ecosystem partners bring true carrier-class, completely cloud based, social collaboration and productivity solutions to the global marketplace through rapid service creation.
Mobile service providers make up a significant portion of our customer base and we couldn’t pick a better venue than Mobile World Congress to showcase how our mobility solutions are helping some of the world’s largest communications service providers enhance their communications offerings and grow their customer base. In addition to closely collaborating with top-tier ecosystem partners such as SAP, HPE and IBM, GENBAND is leading the proliferation of real time communications for large service providers, mobile operators and enterprise organizations by creating market-disrupting solutions such as our Wireless Access Gateway, NFV portfolio, Kandy Platform and fring OTT app.
We are looking forward to showcasing these and more solutions at Mobile World Congress. But we will be doing a lot more than simply showcasing GENBAND’s solutions. Last year at MWC we announced the creation of the fring Alliance. At this year’s show we will be featuring some of the innovative, revenue-generating apps and services that Alliance members are already creating. In addition, we will be participating in the Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) OpenNFV Partner Showcase where we will be demonstrating the differentiating integrated NFV-based mobility solutions we are helping to develop by combining GENBAND Wireless Access Gateway and HPE’s carrier grade OpenNFV platform.
Our company is also continuing to make great strides on the enterprise front and our executives will be highlighting much of this progress at the upcoming Enterprise Connect conference in Orlando in early March. As companies continue to transition from analog and IP PBX phone systems to the cloud where they can reap the benefits of real time communications they are increasingly looking to solutions providers that have the ability to seamlessly migrate legacy systems to cloud-based solutions like our Nuvia cloud service. In 2015 hundreds of enterprises transitioned to Nuvia and we continue to gain traction by the day. We will be highlighting our extensive enterprise portfolio at Enterprise Connect and sharing some of the exciting customer success stories with media, analysts, customers and prospects alike.
As you can see from all of the great activities that we have planned for the first quarter, 2016 is already shaping up to be another amazing year for GENBAND. I look forward to sharing more news with you about our Perspectives16 Customer and Partner Summit taking place in Orlando, May 1 -5 in the coming months. Until then I hope to see you at one of the exciting upcoming events we will be participating in.
